Regulation and client protection

This is the part of the review every reader should check first, so we keep it strictly factual.

  • The website footer states that financial services are provided by Plexy Trade Ltd, Top Floor, Rodney Court Building, Rodney Bay, Gros Islet, Saint Lucia, Reg. No. 2023-00662. This is a company registration; the site does not name a financial regulator or a licence number.

  • On 27 August 2025 the UK Financial Conduct Authority published a warning about a firm named PlexyTrade, listing the website plexytrade.net, stating the firm may be providing financial services without FCA permission. The warning lists a different domain from plexytrade.com, and we have not been able to confirm whether the two are connected. You can read the FCA warning here.

  • Because the broker is not authorised by a tier-one regulator such as the FCA, ASIC or CySEC, clients would not have access to schemes such as the UK Financial Ombudsman Service or FSCS, and retail leverage caps do not apply.

According to its own Security and Safety page, Plexytrade says it holds client funds in segregated accounts, offers negative balance protection (a negative balance is brought back to zero at no cost to the client), uses Tier-1 liquidity providers and processes payments securely.

Costs to check

Plexytrade offers four live accounts. The Micro account is the low-entry option with the highest leverage, while Gold Raw and Platinum are built around raw spreads.

The four Plexytrade accounts as listed on the broker's website.
  • Micro – $50 minimum deposit, leverage up to 1:2000, maximum trade size 5 lots, typical spread 0.7

  • Platinum – $10,000 minimum deposit, leverage up to 1:400, maximum trade size 80 lots, typical spread from 0.0

Other cost points worth noting: no commission on stock, metal and index CFDs, zero swaps on all FX symbols, and a "7-day swap-free" option on FX for Silver, Gold Raw and Platinum accounts (terms apply). The homepage describes its pricing as raw spreads with low commission, so check the comparison table for the exact per-lot rate on the pairs you trade. You can see Plexytrade account types and the full comparison table on the broker's site.

Plexytrade also runs promotions such as a deposit bonus, a tradeable bonus, cashback of up to $2 per lot and a trading competition. Bonuses usually come with trading-volume conditions, so read the Bonus T&Cs before accepting one.

Platforms and execution

Plexytrade gives traders a wide choice of platforms, which is one of its strongest points:

  • MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 – desktop plus WebTrader versions, with full support for Expert Advisors

  • TradeLocker – a modern web and mobile platform with TradingView charting, trading directly on the chart, one-click trading and a built-in SL/TP calculator

  • PAMM – for money-manager style accounts

Plexytrade TradeLocker platform page
TradeLocker is available alongside MT4 and MT5 at Plexytrade.

The broker describes its execution as STP with no dealing desk and no requotes, with average speeds under 46 ms, and states that scalping, hedging, news trading and EAs are all allowed. For automated traders, a VPS is available: it costs from $50 per month or is free when you deposit from $2,000 (Silver), $5,000 (Gold) or $25,000 (Platinum package) and meet the trading requirements. You can explore the Plexytrade platforms before choosing one.

Other tools include an economic calendar, trading calculators, an education section, technical views and an Alpha Generation plugin.

Deposits, withdrawals, and support

Funding at Plexytrade is crypto-based, which keeps processing fast:

Risk warning

Plexytrade's own risk warning states: "Leveraged Contracts for Difference ('CFDs') and Forex products are complex financial instruments that are traded on margin. Before deciding to trade, please ensure that you understand the risks involved whilst taking into account your investment objectives and level of experience. You should not risk more than you can afford to lose."

The website adds that its information is not directed at citizens or residents of North Korea, the UK, Syria, the United States, Canada, the EEA or any other jurisdiction where it would be contrary to local law. High leverage such as 1:2000 magnifies losses as well as gains. If you still want to take a closer look after checking all of the above, you can visit Plexytrade.
